Whiskey’s is a great night spot on any night of the week with a majority of the crowed made up a college students and young professionals.  Whiskey’s is great for people who are looking for a place with no cover charge, relatively cheap drinks as well as a great atmosphere.  As well as a large dance floor area the club also has seating in a lounge area and is open late most nights of the week.

The Kells is a lively place to visit especially on a night over the weekend.  As with Whiskey’s this club also attracts college students and young professionals who are looking for a place to dance long into the night.  The Kells is divided up into two convenient rooms with one featuring a pumping dance floor area while the other features lounges and chairs for those not dancing.  Another great thing about The Kells is that Chinese food can be ordered if all that dancing makes you hungry.

Trinity is named not as a reference to the catholic heritage of the Boston area but as reference to the three distinct levels that make up this club.  This club has something for everyone with the ground floor featuring a sports bar type look, the second floor offers a place to drink and listen to live music while the basement is where the dancing is.  The dance club at the basement of Trinity features great local and international DJs.

The Modern Lounge is a great place to visit if you are looking for a place with more to offer than beer and cheap wine.  This venue offers a very energetic atmosphere and a great selection of drinks including martinis and cocktails.  The Modern Lounge is more pricey than other clubs in Boston however some nights it is good to go out and try somewhere different.

Avalon caters for the full on dance party crowed and provides a great atmosphere for dancing all night.  The club often hosts evening entertainment as well as some great local and international live music.  Avalon has something for everyone who is in the market for a great night out.
